Ministry Opportunities

Welcome to St. James Episcopal Church! Our church offers a variety of ministries to cater to different interests. Whether you are seeking spiritual guidance, want to get involved in volunteer work, or wish to connect with other members, we have something for everyone.

Our Fellowship Committee provides coffee and refreshments after service on Sunday mornings.  It is a time to get to know one another and share our life with one another.  It is a time to meet our visitors and welcome them to St. James

is a ministry of volunteers dedicating their time and skill in preparing the altar and church for our weekly services, festivals, and other important events held throughout the year.

(Spanish for "little course") originated in Majorca, Spain in the 1940's with the Roman Catholics. Eight dioceses and thousands of Episcopalians are involved in Cursillo weekends, three days which involve daily Communion and five daily talks given by clergy and laity, followed by discussion. The St. James chapter meets on Tuesdays.

In times of joy, sorrow, or uncertainty, our pastoral support team is here to provide guidance, comfort, and companionship. You are not alone on your spiritual journey.

St. James Mary Magdalene Chapter, officially charter in 1982, began in 1980 with 7 members. Every Daughter pledges herself to a lifelong program of prayer, service, and personal evangelism.

Is open to all female members of the parish. They pariticipate in the United Thank Offering Ingatherings. The Church Women also collect toiletry items several times during the year for the Battered Women's Shelter.

Every third Thursday we meet together.  Come share a cup of coffee and share your story.  It may be time of grief that you want to share with others who experiencing the same or you want to share a joyful experience in your life or are struggling with a family member who is suffering with addiction.  Whatever your story may be, come share with those who will pray and understand your need.
